        埃里克·曼格努森1940年出生于哥本哈根，学校期间主修陶艺，1960年埃里克以银牌成绩毕业。进入瓷器名家「皇家哥本哈根」工作磨练多年，之后更参与数个领导品牌的跨领域设计包括为知名的北欧品牌Fritz Hansen、Paustian a/s.设计家具 、门窗系列龙头Franz Schneider Brakelgmbh的门把、RoyalSelangor的餐桌精品、为Licht & Form独家设计陶瓷桌灯等等。埃里克·曼格努森丰富的设计资历使曼格努森获得更多良机，包括Ole Haslund Fund基金会提供赞助、皇家珠宝协会Michelsen's Anniversary Fund以及Knud V.Engelhardt's纪念基金会纷纷予以肯定。埃里克·曼格努森在国际奖项中的大放异彩更是不在话下，囊括1967 Lunning Prize、1977 Furniture Pize、丹麦工业设计的ID Prize、1983年埃里克·曼格努森被丹麦设计学会评选为年度设计师、1996 丹麦艺术学院之Bindesb?ll Medal奖章，以及1997年设计界指标大奖”The Red Dot”和由日本工业设计发展会颁发的”Good Design Gold Prize。埃里克·曼格努森从细致的陶艺琢磨出脱，将洗练的风格带入居家精品，Stelton厂牌旗下就拥有将近50件作品，可谓当代居家精品最具影响 力的设计师之一。
