Magic Flute Sarastro
Björn Wiinblad made his dream of illustrating Mozart’s opera “The Magic Flute” in relief form come true with this porcelain service. Probably the most technically complex Rosenthal studio-line form evokes the appearance of a production of the famous Mozart opera in porcelain. Each set element displays a detailed relief or one of the opera scenes. The undersides display the respective libretto text in the ornamental Wiinblad handwriting.
丹麦艺术设计大师，1957年开始受Rosenthal 之邀,成为其知名首席设计师，在90'年代前,是瓷器创作最为活跃的时候尤以60,70'年代为甚!其于罗森泰知名的设计，除了陶瓷以外,玻璃水晶的创 作量也相当优异，著名的有：Magic Flute(魔笛--莫扎特著名歌剧)、阿拉伯之夜、阿拉丁、1001夜、Don Giovanni(乔凡尼)、圣诞年度杯盘、Romanze(罗曼史)、Lotus(莲花)...等系列. 也设计了限量的家具与棋盘。 1997年,还推出他任职罗森泰四十年纪念作品-Flower Fairy(花仙子)系列，盘底有他的纪念文句与亲笔签名。
